“In order to get somewhere, you have to experience the journey. Without the journey you’re still at your starting point. And you can’t be at the end if you haven’t even started. You wish you could be at the end, you dream about being at the end but you are still in the starting blocks. Commit to starting. It doesn’t matter where or how, just take that first tentative step, and then another, and another. It’s as simple as that.
“Yes, the route may meander and go off course but that’s where all the fun lies. If you stay on track you do get there quicker, but sometimes we’d love for you to enjoy the meandering, as that can be the best part!
“There is always reward in reaching a destination but the arriving is only part of the reward, the rest is the journey. When you realise that the journey is part of the reward, you stop striving so much to get to the end point and you start enjoying the reward before you. There is no better reward than the delicious unknown, unchartered territory of the journey ahead. That’s what you came here for.
“Instead you want guarantees and certainty, but that is not what you came here for. You came here to enjoy the uncertainty, the unknowing and the discovery. All good journeys have an element of adventure, of the unknown, overcoming obstacles and of triumph. You’re here to experience it all!
“There is one certainty in your adventure though… you will succeed, in truth, you are already succeeding. Even if it doesn’t seem like it, your journey is a resounding success and continues to be on every level. Enjoy it!
